Kaleidoscopic Vision

Looking through the kaleidoscope, there unfolds a futuristic image. Forms, mirrored surfaces and light show a completely different world. These “diamond” shapes intrigued me and this stimulated me to experiment with what these shapes do when they are spatially flat or processed in textiles.

Kaleidoscope Eyes is about enlightenment, the dawn of a new era, nostalgia towards the future, an escape from reality and the eternal power of diamonds.
