“The World Of Festivals” is a source about cinema industry for people of all competencies. The news about the brightest film events in Russia and abroad, interviews with young Russian directors , the best short films of the planet, film festivals’ calendar – all of this can be found on the site mirfest.ru.

But the most important thing is that there’s a wide data base of different festivals presented on the site. Directors can have a look on it, to choose festivals for their films, to learn rules and regulations for submissions.

Starting with his own documentary film “The North Capital’s Jubilee” and then producing the film “Field. Clowns. Apple” Ivan Lopatin, the founder of the “Leevandia Entertainment” has become a producer of a lot of projects afterwards.

Produced in 2010 the motion picture “Sea Of Desires” directed by Shota Gamisonia participated in more than 30 film festivals, won 8 international prizes and, besides everything else, has become a participant of Clermont-Ferrand 2011 (France) – one of the biggest short film festivals.

In 2011 the world festivals audience was caught by the story of little film lover in his film “Ambitious” directed by Ainur Askarov. The film participated in more than 50 festivals and won more than 30 prizes in different sections both in Russia and abroad.

A bit later the second Ainur Askarov’s motion picture “We Are Not Slaves” also was awarded on different festivals: MFF of Ozerov, Kazan youth film festival and recently on European independent film festival ECU 2012 – European Oscar.

In May 2012 Anna Saruhanova’s film “Away” was selected in the international short film section of the 34th Moscow International Film Festival. A documentary short film of Darya Orhan “On The Hook” about the culture of hanging people on hooks found its place on German festival Sehsuechte that will take place in the end of April.  A fruitful cooperation with Dmitriy Kupovih’s studio “Free Film” gave a lot of gains: the film “Arena” by Eduard Bordukov was taken on a small but very famous festival in Germany, GrenzlandFilmtage; “Immersion into the fire” by Hamlet Dulian was selected on the festival of Russian films in Tunisia. In 2010 Svetozar Golovlev’s motion picture “1937” found a huge success. It participated in such festivals as PalmSpring in the USA, One Country One Film in France and 30 more.

This year “The World Of Festivals” takes Cannes Film Festival by storm. A short film “Norms Of life” by Evgeniy Byalo will take part in the official Cinefondation program. And six of the films in Short Film Corner are the company’s clients.

During several years of its existence the company has helped more than150 films to achieve the success; our films participated in more than 800 festivals and won more than 150 prizes.
