The producer and the head of the “Leevandia Entertainment” company Ivan Lopatin was invited as a jury member on the 8th International festival Quest Europe that took place in Poland from the 24th to the 27th of August.

Ivan shared the details of this trip in the interview.

A new film “We Are Not Slaves” by Ainur Askarov, the “Leevandia Entertainment’s” company production, was finished the other day. Ainur, the winner of more than 20 awards for his debut film “Ambitious” this time addresses to World War II topic. “We Are Not Slaves” is a picture from a small boy’s life, but not from a sunny Baskkirian village but from cold blockade Leningrad.

Leevandia Entertainment finished the work on the image film for a big construction firm “PIK”. In celebration of its 50 y.o. Integrated home-building factory #2 – as the part of “PIK” conglomerate – asked for a film telling about the company, its staff. Vladimir Resin – a former head of the Urban planning politician complex and construction of Moscow city, the first mayor’s deputy and the company’s director – took part in the shooting.

In 2012 within the 34th Moscow International Film Festival the first edition of a short film program took place. We selected 20 the most interesting films from the more than 700 submissions that were sent from different countries all over the world.

The film “Away” by Anna Sarukhanova was also selected for the main competition and it was the only film representing Russia.
