Timofey Zhalnin

Was born in Novokuznetsk.

From 2000 to 2007 was a head of experimental studio of plastic theatre “Luksorr”.

In 2007 entered The Government Cinema and TV University of Saint Petersburg. He had been studying for a director of narrative films (the workshop of Sergey Ovcharov). During his studying had made several works including “Railway Romance”, “A Draft”, “Matches”, “Booth-ish”, “Alchemist” and etc. His graduation work “F5” won the main awards on the cinema festival “Cinemataur”, “Saint Anna”, “Kinoproba”, “Artkino”, “Nachalo”, “PeterKit”, “Seschte” (Germany) back in 2012-2013.

He also was a participant of “The best shorts of 2012” program.
